Aquamissions

When you have completed your seal team program, its time to start learning some new skills and continue having fun underwater. Ever wanted to have a go at taking photos underwater or wonder what its like beneath the surface when the lights go out. There are 10 aquamissions to choose from:

•       Creature ID

Come and learn all about the animals that live in the Moreton Bay region and what they get up to beneath the surface. In the water we will learn underwater hand signals for the marine animals and how to identify them.

•       Environmental

•       Inner Space

•       Navigation

Come and learn how to find your way underwater. We will teach you how to use a compass and work our where you are going and measure distances below the surface.

•       Night

Ever wondered what its like beneath the surface after dark? Join us in the pool for a night dive. We will teach you how to keep track of your buddy in the dark and how we communicate when you can’t always see each others hand signals.

•       Safety

Responsible divers always know how to help themselves and their buddy if a problem arises. During this dive you will learn rescue skills. A SERIOUSLY FUN Aquamission.

•       Search and Recovery

Ever wondered what happens if you drop something over the side of a boat. Come along and learn search and recovery techniques. We will teach you search pattens and how to use lift bags to recover objects from the bottom of the sea. 

•       Skin Diver

•       Snapshot

Join our professional underwater photographer and learn all about what cameras to use underwater and how to get those amazing photos. 

•       Wreck

Come and explore our wreck at the bottom of the pool. Learn how to control you buoyancy to get into tricky spots around the wreck. Also learn to to measure and map out the wreck.

Inclusions: 

  • Experienced PADI Instructor

  • All equipment including mask, fin and snorkel

  • Additional equipment as required for each Aquamission such as waterproof camera for Snapshot Specialist Aquamission

Our Aquamissions are held at Dolphins Fitness & Aquatic Centre, Redcliffe, Brisbane
